We are working with a social impact startup that is aiming to diversify tech by providing job opportunities to regions with some of the highest youth employment in the world in Palestine, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). They are building an all-in-one platform that connects these applicants with top tier tech companies, volunteers to help coach to pass interviews and a community to advise on career development.
You will be the first designer joining this early-stage startup and will be working on establishing the UI and UX. Initially, you’ll come in to establish a UI style guide and component system. You’ll be using tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Figma or other solutions you may have. You’ll be working closely with the founders on UX and establishing patterns that will be used across the product.
Ideally, you’re a well-rounded product designer who has experience working on social networks/communities or edtech platforms. You’ll be the first designer in the team, so ideally you’re able to work autonomously and comfortable setting up various systems, platforms, teams, and ways of working:

This is a fully remote position that is open to candidates across the globe. The current team is spread between San Francisco, Berlin and Palestine.
