What To Expect

You will be joining a new greenfield project within a tech giant with one of the most recognisable names in the eCommerce space. Alongside you will be a Head of Product and Principal PM. Together, you will report to the Director and Head of Engineering and design the new architecture, team setup, and planning for this new initiative which promises to reimagine the entire platform to be used by everybody.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has built a team and product at scale before. Someone who understands operational excellence and has a proven track record of delivering products and teams within ambiguous settings. While leadership roles within this company are typically hands-off, given the early stage of the team, a hands-on attitude is very good to have, which makes this role quite good for anyone looking to move from Lead Developer into Management. No prior experience working in D+I is needed, that said, a true interest in the topic will help.

  • Managing building teams at scale
  • Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Technical background in JVM a big plus, other tech stacks will be considered
