Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)
Within this internationally famous media brand you will be joining one of the Backend teams focussed on developing and distributing APIs across the company and it’s partners. Currently at four people (including the Engineering Manager) and growing to six; they are now increasing their database coverage, reassessing their architecture and building out scalability.
Principally they are using Node.js for development and a lot of GraphQL for the APIs. Added to this are parts of AWS, Express, MongoDB and MySQL. Good GraphQL knowledge is key as they have multiple questions on how to extract the maximum potential from it possible.
Our Ideal Candidate
GraphQL knowledge is key, they have both short term and long term goals surrounding the technology.
Someone who has enough experience to contribute actively to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Someone who has an affinity for media in general is a plus.
You are based in the Netherlands (or looking to relocate here) and willing to travel to Amsterdam once a month.
